Redone inside from top to bottom, down to the furniture, to give the illusion of more room. Because the developer squeezed an extra floor into the block, the ceilings sit just above the doors and the apartment is long and narrow.

So, every interior decision aimed to make the space feel larger than it is. 

The kitchen, dining and living areas were joined into one run of space that opens onto the balcony, so the narrow plan reads as one generous room instead of a corridor of small ones. Everything is white and built in, so the kitchen disappears into the space instead of crowding it, and even the sinks are tucked out of sightlines.

Where a normal cornice would have sealed the low ceiling like a lid, a gap between ceiling and wall makes it float. Even the tiniest detail was considered to help turn this apartment into one that feels open and light, letting the beach in to do the rest.
